C’est à partir de 17h30 que vous pourrez retrouver Li Kunwu dans les locaux de l’association Franco Chinoise du Morbihan, 1 rue de la loi à Vannes , pour une rencontre et dédicaces autour de ses albums. nous aurons le plaisir de découvrir en avant première sa nouveauté: « Ma maman », un album hommage à sa maman; 
Dans ce one-shot en grand format d’environ 200 pages, l’auteur raconte l’histoire se sa mère (avant la prise de pouvoir de Mao), qu’il a perdue en 2018. Peu après son décès, alors qu’il commence à dessiner sa maman et son parcours pour lui rendre hommage, le chagrin le submerge. Incapable de continuer, il lui faudra un an avant de pouvoir trouver la force et le courage de terminer son livre.
Comme toujours avec cet artiste, l’oeuvre sera l’occasion de découvrir des choses sur la Chine depuis l’intérieur, et ici il sera notamment question de saisir pourquoi la révolution chinoise a été une révolution paysanne. Le tout, sous un dessin puissant et bourré d’émotion.
